Summary:What your team does:

Our Account Executive, Strategic team is the engine that drives our business development efforts to close. They proactively look for new opportunities, provide sound advice, give product demonstrations, and offer solutions to complex problems using strong business acumen and resourcefulness. They do it quickly, efficiently, and flawlessly; while continuing to revolutionize an entire industry.

What you’ll work on
  • Uncover new business opportunities, leveraging prospecting skills and relationships to build lasting partnerships with Law Firms in your assigned territory 

  • Convert qualified opportunities using phone, email, and product demonstrations

  • Use Salesforce to manage all sales activities 

  • Accurately forecast monthly sales pipeline weekly 

  • Take ownership of your territory, managing the sales cycle for all inbound and outbound opportunities

  • Collaborate with qualifying teams to strategize on opportunity generation within your territory 

  • Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations to recommend the product solution that best fits each client’s needs 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer expectations are met with Clio’s product offerings

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and adapt your sales strategy to position Clio best in your territory.

What you bring:
  • Legal-tech industry experience or a legal background who are looking to leverage their domain expertise in a strategic sales role.

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, including closing deals

  • Minimum of 1 year of SaaS, full-cycle sales experience

  • You have a track record of success developing and managing both an inbound and outbound pipeline effectively 

  • Experience preparing and taking the lead on product demonstrations 

  • Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels

  • You are self-motivated, creative, organized, and process-oriented

  • Experience using tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, SalesNav or similar is a plus 

  • Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AI


Preferred:
  • Experience in the legal industry

  • Experience selling into high regulated industries

  • Experience in a hyper-growth environment

The base salary range for this role is $70,400 to $105,600 CAD. with on-target earnings (OTE) of $140,800 to $211,200 at 100% attainment. All commission eligible roles have a set base/variable pay mix depending on role, and are eligible for uncapped commissions. Variable compensation is not guaranteed and will depend on individual, team, or company performance. Initial placement within the range is informed by geographic region, experience, and skillset, with room to progress as impact and tenure grow. Final offer amounts will vary based on candidate profile.
