Develop and operate scalable backend payment services using C#, .NET Core, and AWS. Modernize monolithic systems into microservices, resolve database scalability and legacy challenges, improve APIs, automate processes, and apply testing and continuous integration practices. Collaborate across teams, communicate with stakeholders, contribute to technical planning, and mentor colleagues. The role is hybrid and based onsite in Vancouver, with potential travel to New Zealand for onboarding.

Design, build, and operationalize agentic AI workflows and applications across internal business teams. Integrate AI systems with enterprise platforms, create reusable automation patterns, and develop evaluation and monitoring frameworks for safe, auditable AI workflows. Partner with nontechnical stakeholders to translate business needs into solutions, lead production delivery, and coach teams on AI adoption.

Build and operate reliable, customer-facing reporting software for Xero. Develop flexible financial reporting experiences, improve data-intensive query performance, ensure calculation accuracy, and create shared reporting capabilities for other product teams. Own engineering work from design through production, collaborate with Product and Design, support scalable systems, and apply AI tools to engineering workflows and verification.
