Designs and maintains highly available AWS infrastructure, ECS scaling, RDS PostgreSQL operations, infrastructure as code, disaster recovery, monitoring, CI/CD automation, and incident response. The role troubleshoots production issues, conducts post-mortems, improves reliability and performance, and collaborates with engineering teams on cloud and operational best practices.

Own AI security product initiatives from discovery through release, defining requirements, roadmaps, user flows, acceptance criteria, and success measures. Partner with engineering, design, QA, sales, and customer-facing teams to deliver features, validate releases, support deployment, and optimize products. Gather customer feedback, prioritize work based on value and feasibility, and support go-to-market readiness through documentation, training, and release materials.

Investigate and resolve customer-impacting issues in Python services, analyzing behavior across applications, databases, messaging systems, and infrastructure. Perform UI and performance testing, lead root-cause analysis with engineering and infrastructure teams, and provide technical guidance and training. The role requires enterprise Python development, cloud-native and distributed-systems experience, knowledge of APIs, security, databases, observability, and AI applications, with hybrid work near Vancouver, BC.
