The role requires complex SaaS sales expertise, long sales-cycle experience, restaurant technology knowledge, and travel of 30% or more.

Lead international integration engineering by architecting scalable distributed systems and an AI-powered development harness for partner integrations. Guide technical strategy, mentor engineers, review architecture and code, establish development and deployment best practices, and deliver production solutions. Collaborate with product, design, QA, UX, and partner engineering teams while using Java, Kotlin, event-driven messaging, and cloud technologies.

Conducts high-volume bilingual outreach to prospective restaurant and local business customers, qualifies their needs, schedules meetings for Account Executives, and develops sales skills through Toast’s structured path toward an Account Executive role.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll lead a team in developing and delivering scalable software solutions for employee management in the restaurant industry, focusing on enhancing customer and employee experiences.

Build and productionize statistical and ML models for Toast's restaurant platform. Partner with engineers, product, and business teams to mine data, design experiments, evaluate models, and communicate actionable insights that drive product growth and customer outcomes.

Lead design and delivery of scalable ML systems across the full lifecycle for recommendations, forecasting, targeting, and personalization. Collaborate with engineers and product teams, set modeling and productionization standards, mentor data scientists, guide architecture and experimentation, and apply cloud and MLOps best practices to drive measurable product and business impact.
