Manage Canadian compliance operations for RPAA and FINTRAC obligations. Review regulatory deliverables, maintain required records, track incidents and remediation, coordinate examinations and supervisory requests, prepare governance reporting, and program-manage payments and regulatory projects. The role partners across Legal, Compliance, Product, and global teams while supporting payment rail requirements and continuous process improvement.

Owns end-to-end verification control programs across products and geographies. Responsibilities include designing and testing first-line-of-defense controls, assessing effectiveness, supporting transaction monitoring and incident response, using automation and AI, translating risk insights into technical requirements, maintaining audit readiness, and leading initiatives across verification, sanctions, and FinCrime programs. The role partners extensively with product, engineering, analytics, compliance, and operations teams.

Lead technical strategy and architecture for Remitly’s Customer Success Technology systems. Build scalable frontend, backend, workflow, and agentic AI solutions that improve customer and support-agent experiences. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers; establish engineering standards; troubleshoot reliability and performance issues; and guide large feature development across complex software systems.
