Build innovative software products in the Special Projects Division addressing public health, agriculture, education, and aid-related challenges in Sub-Saharan Africa. Responsibilities include designing software architectures, developing on UNIX-based platforms, participating in code reviews, using disciplined version control, collaborating with teams, and potentially applying Django, React, Android, or PyTorch. The role may involve travel to Africa to understand local contexts.

Support field projects across health, agriculture, and education in Sub-Saharan Africa: engage with ministries and donors, build data capture and analysis solutions, train AI for nutrient detection using handheld spectrometers, and design/run national-scale STEM programs and contests. Work will be chosen based on interests and abilities.

The Business Development Specialist will drive tech sales focusing on public health and food security projects with governments and philanthropic organizations across Africa, leveraging their connections and experience for impactful collaborations.
