Leads and scales investment operations across trade operations, performance measurement, attribution, and risk. Owns operating strategy, controls, data integrity, process modernization, automation, workload planning, budgeting, business continuity, and third-party provider performance. Develops leaders and teams, establishes operational KPIs, manages risk and escalations, and advises executive leadership on priorities and investment needs. Partners with trading, technology, compliance, finance, and investor operations to support scalable growth.

Leads Pender’s trading function across equities, fixed income, and derivatives. Oversees execution strategy, best execution, broker relationships, trading controls, regulatory compliance, and counterparty management. Owns the roadmap for OMS/EMS and trading infrastructure, applying automation, programming, analytics, and AI to improve execution and workflows. Partners with portfolio managers and senior stakeholders while building, coaching, and developing the trading team.

Supports venture capital investment activities by sourcing and screening B2B software companies, conducting founder calls, researching markets, building financial models, performing valuation and due diligence, and preparing investment memos and presentations. The Analyst uses AI and research tools to improve prospecting and analysis, evaluates business models and unit economics, assesses risks, and provides insights for investment and portfolio decisions.
