Designs and assesses traction electrification and power distribution systems for rail and transit projects. Responsibilities include electrical system calculations, substations, medium- and low-voltage distribution, grounding, bonding, protection, equipment specifications, construction documentation, contractor reviews, field investigations, testing support, and multidisciplinary system integration. Provides technical guidance to junior staff and may seal engineering documents as a professional engineer.

Support cybersecurity advisory, technology risk, and OT cybersecurity consulting engagements across critical infrastructure environments. Conduct maturity assessments, gap analyses, control reviews, client workshops, and OT network and asset assessments. Document risks, control gaps, architectures, and operating models; develop reports, control matrices, and remediation roadmaps. Contribute to project coordination, threat research, proposal development, and recommendations aligned with cybersecurity frameworks and OT safety, reliability, and continuity requirements.

Senior technical leader and SME for hydrogen production, storage, delivery, dispensing, and blending. Provide technical oversight, feasibility and FEED studies, safety and risk assessments (HAZID/HAZOP/QRA), client engagement, mentorship, regulatory support, and integration guidance for hydrogen infrastructure across transit, rail, municipal, and heavy-duty applications.

Lead terrestrial ecology components for transportation infrastructure projects across British Columbia, overseeing assessments, Species at Risk permitting, mitigation design, construction monitoring, reporting, client and regulator liaison, and mentoring junior staff from planning through construction.

Apply human factors and human-system integration to rail and transit projects. Support system engineering, task analyses, HMI and workstation assessments, safety and maintainability evaluations, testing, field reviews, and prepare technical reports and client presentations to reduce human error and improve operations.

Lead fisheries field and office work including inventories, habitat and impact assessments, permitting, mitigation design, and construction monitoring. Provide technical leadership, client and regulator liaison, prepare proposals and technical reports, manage small projects/tasks, and travel to field sites as required.

Manage and coordinate rail and transit infrastructure projects across lifecycle phases (design through construction). Maintain schedules, budgets, risk registers, and stakeholder communications; support proposals, QA/QC, health and safety plans, contractor oversight, and meeting leadership to ensure project delivery and client satisfaction.

Lead and manage systems engineering teams delivering rail and transit command, control, and communications systems. Oversee system-level engineering across design, integration, testing, commissioning, requirements, interface management, verification/validation, and systems assurance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, authorities, suppliers, and operations to ensure operational readiness and long-term maintainability.

Support planning, design, and delivery of tunnelling and trenchless infrastructure projects from concept through construction support. Perform feasibility and design, review geotechnical data and contractor submissions, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, prepare technical specifications and procurement support, provide construction-phase engineering, RFIs, site observations, and contribute to proposals and business development.
