Leads Core Infrastructure and Operations Engineering across SRE, operations, data and AI platforms, and database engineering. Owns the cloud platform and infrastructure-as-a-product strategy, drives reliability, scalability, governance, and operational excellence, and manages managers and distributed engineering teams. Build and operate scalable backend services and Kafka/Flink stream-processing pipelines for IoT telemetry from hundreds of thousands of devices. Develop APIs, geofencing, alerting, trip construction, and asset-location systems while collaborating with embedded and IoT teams. Improve observability, reliability, code quality, and AWS infrastructure. The role also involves mentoring engineers and using AI coding tools.

Lead Motive’s Workforce Management product suite and product management team. Responsibilities include defining product strategy and requirements, researching customer and market opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional and go-to-market teams, developing growth strategies, building a high-performing product organization, and analyzing product launch performance to drive adoption and exceptional user experiences.

Own the hardware and firmware product strategy for Motive’s connected equipment-monitoring devices. Lead hardware NPI from concept through mass production, regulatory certification, and launch; manage the deployed device base, reliability, battery life, connectivity, and firmware updates; and guide partner-network integrations. Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, cloud, mobile, and go-to-market teams while translating customer needs into technical requirements and roadmap priorities.

Lead hardware and embedded security across Motive devices and connected cloud infrastructure. Build security baselines for boot chains, firmware, FOTA, manufacturing, and device lifecycles. Partner with hardware engineering to prioritize and remediate findings, conduct architecture reviews, threat modeling, and security testing, and define security requirements for platforms, interfaces, debug capabilities, provisioning, and lifecycle controls.

Lead and build Motive's developer platform and AI-driven development lifecycle: cloud agent infrastructure, CI/CD and build systems, developer experience, testing frameworks, multi-region security and cost controls, and a manager-of-managers organization to increase velocity, reliability, and adoption across hundreds of engineers.

Conduct red team operations, adversary simulations, and offensive security assessments across cloud environments. Evaluate cloud infrastructure, identity architectures, CI/CD pipelines, containerized workloads, and cloud-native services. Identify attack paths involving IAM, secrets, metadata, automation, and configuration weaknesses. Validate detection and response capabilities with blue teams, track emerging attacker techniques, and drive remediation through concise reporting and stakeholder communication.

Lead hardware and embedded security for Motive devices: establish secure-by-default baselines (boot chain, firmware, FOTA, manufacturing), perform threat modeling and architecture reviews, define security requirements, drive remediation with hardware teams, and build scalable security components and automation across device lifecycle and cloud-connected infrastructure.

Lead and develop a Canada-based Solutions Engineering team to enable mid-market, enterprise, and strategic sales through demos, trial workflows, technical guidance, RFP responses, cross-functional partnership, and value-based selling to drive revenue.

Lead Canada account management and customer success teams to drive retention, renewals, and enterprise expansion. Build scalable programs, coach and recruit talent, align executives, partner cross-functionally (Sales Ops, Product, Support), track pipeline and forecasting, serve as escalation sponsor, and optimize processes to maximize net revenue retention and customer value realization.

Lead and grow an enterprise SaaS sales team across Canada: hire, coach, plan territory and accounts, drive pipeline and ACV targets, engage strategic prospects, enforce CRM and sales processes, and collaborate cross-functionally to close Fortune 500 and large enterprise deals.
