Assists with designing, developing, testing, and documenting mechanical and opto-mechanical components for 3D machine vision sensors. Creates SolidWorks models, GD&T drawings, BOMs, and test reports; analyzes build data using statistical methods; executes project tasks; identifies technical challenges; collaborates with senior engineers; participates in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Manages end-to-end purchasing for an assigned portfolio of parts, including supplier negotiations, purchase order creation, delivery and quality monitoring, inventory levels, supplier performance, non-conforming materials, technical documentation, and vendor data in NetSuite. Collaborates with R&D and Engineering, supports new product sourcing, administers alternative supply methods, and contributes to continuous improvement while following QMS requirements.

Lead FPGA design for a distributed embedded system including machine vision, cameras, laser drivers and high-speed links. Develop RTL (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog), define architecture, build self-checking testbenches, run simulations, debug hardware, analyze component datasheets, mentor engineers, and support release and vendor interactions.
