Own day-to-day accounting for a growing, multi-entity digital product studio. Responsibilities include monthly, quarterly, and year-end close; financial reporting; project-based revenue recognition; cash management; audit, tax, and compliance; margin and project reporting; and finance systems improvement. The Controller will automate workflows, use AI responsibly, strengthen controls, support forecasting, and translate financial results into recommendations for business leaders.

Lead enterprise Shopify POS rollouts for retail brands by auditing store operations, defining SOPs, configuring POS workflows, creating training, coordinating cutovers, supporting go-live, and providing post-launch hypercare. Deliver in-person and remote training, troubleshoot basic store hardware, triage rollout issues, and coordinate with technical architects, engineering, IT, and vendors. The role requires approximately 25% travel, including intensive on-site rollout waves and occasional off-hours cutover support.
