On top of all the engineering skills I've acquired since I started at Klaviyo, I've also been given the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the business from the perspective of a number of different organizations. Being seen as a subject-matter expert has allowed me to gain insights into how the Sales, Support, BI, and Marketing teams operate.

My typical day involves a mix of working on tickets, pairing with coworkers, attending meetings with stakeholders and managers/leads, and daily scrum activities. It also involves being a lead for a project, which involves writing technical specs, communicating and coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful project completion.

I feel privileged to work with a team who aren’t just the smartest people I’ve met but also some of the most caring and thoughtful people as well. It’s clear this team wants to do their best work while becoming their best selves in the process.
