Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, troubleshoot issues, operate tools safely, collaborate with team members, and maintain records.

Manage day-to-day alternative fuel/material deliveries, inventory, sampling, testing and trials; troubleshoot and optimize systems with maintenance; prepare consumption and safety reports; ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC and train staff; support capital requests, invoice reconciliation, and continuous improvement at a heavy industrial cement plant.

Lead plant safety initiatives and optimize production equipment (kiln, grinding mills). Coordinate refractory selection, installation and maintenance. Support budgeting and forecasting with Maintenance Manager. Drive process improvements, cross-discipline problem solving, and stakeholder communication in a heavy industrial cement plant environment.
