Manage daily operations of a construction materials testing laboratory specializing in soil, aggregate, asphalt, and concrete. Lead technical oversight, project delivery, quality assurance, equipment maintenance, safety, accreditation compliance, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting. Recruit, train, and mentor laboratory staff while coordinating with engineers, clients, contractors, and project managers across Western Canada. Ensure compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, CSA, CCIL, BC transportation, and WorkSafeBC requirements.

Manage project accounting including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, monthly financial reporting and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and client contracts. Collaborate with project managers on financial performance, process invoices, track billings and accounts receivable, and support audits and year-end close.

Lead and manage contaminated sites projects in BC, overseeing site investigations, remediation planning and implementation, regulatory submissions, budgets, schedules, QA/QC, client relationships, and mentoring junior staff while supporting business development.

Prepare tender packages, contracts and specifications; coordinate specifications with drawings; interpret technical specifications and contract clauses; advise project managers and design staff; participate in multidisciplinary design meetings to meet project deadlines and client requirements.
