Manage and control project documents: review, catalog, file and distribute consultant and shop drawings, submittals and change notices; maintain project inbox and PM system logs; support change management and assist with ordering construction materials and equipment.

Coordinate shop drawings, RFIs, subcontractor and consultant communications; assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with project administration and field work; review and update schedules; conduct quality control inspections and update construction progress records; may directly manage subcontractors or portions of a project.

Lead project quality from preconstruction through completion: develop and oversee project quality plans, inspection and testing plans, conduct audits of subcontractors/suppliers, manage deficiency processes, report program effectiveness, and implement QA/QC risk mitigation.

Lead and champion quality excellence across an Area by promoting a quality culture, developing team structures, contributing to bids, facilitating QA/QC activities, connecting project teams with corporate resources, creating training and best-practice materials, continuously improving quality systems and tools, and conducting project quality audits with accountability for corrective actions.

Manage special construction projects from pre-construction through completion: lead design coordination, budgeting, scheduling, billing, subcontractor payments, client and architect communications, cost forecasting, risk escalation, and team leadership. Produce project reports and run meetings to ensure project progress and positive cash flow.

Manage project accounting for construction projects: review contracts, process subcontractor payments and payroll allocations, prepare client billing packages, maintain cash flow forecasts, and assist project managers with monthly financial reporting.

Lead sales tax compliance for Canada and the US: review invoices/payments, prepare and file GST/HST/PST/QST and US returns, support audits, research tax issues, advise business stakeholders, and assist month-end close and year-end audit processes.
