Downtown Eastside Women's Centre

Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre (DEWC) is a Vancouver nonprofit that provides a safe, non-judgmental environment for self-identifying women, including cis, trans and Two-Spirit women, who live or work in the Downtown Eastside. Its support includes meals, counselling, advocacy, basic-needs services, specialized supports and emergency shelter, along with recreation and self-help programs designed to nurture and empower members and advance women’s social well-being.
