Leads architecture and technical direction for secure, scalable AI and ML platform services. Designs AWS Serverless systems, evaluates LLM technologies, and brings research prototypes into production. Builds search, semantic retrieval, vector search, and RAG capabilities using OpenSearch and related technologies. Partners with researchers, product teams, and senior engineers, mentors technical staff, guides architecture discussions, and translates AI strategy into execution roadmaps.

Advise key clients on configuring and optimizing Diligent’s GRC platform, assess governance, risk, and compliance needs, drive platform adoption and retention, identify expansion opportunities, and share industry and regulatory insights. Partner with Product, Customer Success, Support, and Sales teams to improve client outcomes and platform usage while managing multiple client engagements.

Manages Vancouver office operations, workspace allocation, reception staff, supplies, expenses, events, executive support, building communications, vendors, maintenance contractors, access control, and emergency procedures. Oversees employee engagement, health and safety, catering, mail distribution, and administrative support while ensuring a smooth, well-maintained office environment.

Partners with Sales to lead pre-sales activities for small and mid-sized opportunities. Delivers tailored software demonstrations, conducts discovery, designs solution architectures, configures demo environments, and translates risk, audit, compliance, and GRC challenges into business-focused solutions. Engages customer stakeholders, supports proofs of concept, contributes to larger deals, provides product feedback, and participates in webinars and thought-leadership initiatives.

Build and maintain secure, scalable, event-driven serverless microservices using TypeScript and AWS. Design architectures, implement infrastructure as code, optimize CI/CD and developer productivity, and support continuous production deployments. Collaborate through Agile planning, pairing, documentation, and architectural discussions. Use AI tools responsibly for coding, debugging, testing, research, and reviews while evaluating privacy, security, fairness, cost, and accuracy. Develop Node.js/TypeScript REST APIs, work with SQL databases, and contribute to modern web interfaces using React or Angular.

Own end-to-end onboarding and drive customer adoption, run proactive check-ins and Quarterly Business Reviews, coordinate cross-functional issue resolution, build repeatable playbooks, templates and reporting, and help shape the Customer Success function while collaborating with international colleagues.

Build and own secure, event-driven full-stack services on AWS using TypeScript/Node.js. Implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, observability, REST APIs, and automated tests; respond to production incidents and participate in architecture decisions while leveraging AI tools.
