Teams at Dialpad

Own end-to-end quality for Dialpad’s AI voice-agent features by developing test automation, evaluation frameworks, observability tooling, and CI/CD quality checks. Test frontend, backend, API, audio, text, orchestration, and tool integrations, including performance, reliability, safety, hallucination, and bias risks. Partner with AI and development teams on prompts, models, and evaluation strategies; define quality KPIs, participate in architecture reviews, and mentor engineers.

Lead design and implementation of public APIs, event and plug-in frameworks, and client libraries for external developers. Own full lifecycle from design to production monitoring, shape technical roadmap, translate developer workflows into scalable solutions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and external stakeholders. Hybrid role based in Vancouver.

As an Applied Scientist at Dialpad, you will conduct R&D for autonomous voice agents, focusing on real-time multimodal AI systems and optimizing proprietary LLMs for agentic workflows. Collaboration with engineering and design teams is key to develop and implement effective solutions.
