Teams at D-Wave Systems

Leads manufacturing engineering for advanced cryogenic products, including process development, production scaling, documentation, tooling, new product introduction, testing, quality improvement, and root-cause investigations. Collaborates with engineering, supply chain, service, lab operations, suppliers, and manufacturing partners. Mentors production personnel, drives cross-functional improvement projects, supports outsourcing decisions, and ensures product quality, safety, reliability, and manufacturing readiness.

Conduct experimental research on superconducting quantum processors, including device characterization, calibration, noise reduction, performance modeling, and processor optimization. Develop experimental procedures, theoretical models, simulations, data-analysis routines, and LISP infrastructure for processor operation. Document findings and collaborate with physicists, engineers, designers, cryogenic experts, software developers, and other internal teams.

Lead and develop a team of experimental physicists and materials scientists advancing quantum processor technology. Set technical priorities, allocate people and budgets, manage risks, and partner across engineering, fabrication, software, product, and program management. Guide superconducting circuit, quantum annealing, gate-model, cryogenic, and processor scaling initiatives while fostering scientific innovation. Contribute to technical reviews, publications, patents, roadmap decisions, hiring, performance management, and long-term organizational capability.
