Reports, researches, edits, and produces original stories for digital, social, radio, streaming, and television platforms. Responds to breaking news, develops enterprise coverage, presents live on air, builds community contacts, and collaborates with CBC colleagues. The role requires independent work, strong multiplatform storytelling, journalistic accuracy, audience awareness, and engagement with diverse communities. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position in Surrey, British Columbia, with afternoon and weekend shifts.

Provide library and information services for French-language regional TV and radio: select, catalogue, archive, digitize and manage audiovisual assets; assist production teams with retrieval and use of materials; maintain and preserve file-based media; occasionally coordinate team activities and work varied hours as required.

Coordinates projects for Libraries and Archives content management systems, including taxonomy development, system maintenance, milestone tracking, operational support, staff training, and software evaluation. Collaborates with internal departments, technology teams, stakeholders, and external partners to align deliverables with organizational goals. The role also addresses technical and operational challenges and may require occasional availability outside regular business hours.
