Lead indirect tax advisory and compliance engagements (GST/HST, PST, QST, customs), advise on transactions and reorganizations, manage audits and teams, mentor staff, develop practice and business, and provide technical guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.

Lead and manage audit engagements for private-company clients from planning to completion. Perform risk assessments, financial statement analysis, quality control, WIP and budget management, team leadership and client communication, and contribute to continuous improvement and compliance with accounting and auditing standards.

Lead Canadian tax compliance, provision, and advisory engagements; build senior client relationships; review complex corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns; approve technical research and planning; mentor and coach staff; identify client service opportunities and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Lead wealth and tax advisory engagements for high-net-worth families and family offices. Provide advanced Canadian tax planning across personal, corporate, trust, and estate contexts, support succession and intergenerational planning, collaborate with financial planners, review compliance for related clients, and mentor team members to grow the Wealth & Family Office practice.

Perform due diligence for M&A transactions, analyze EBITDA, working capital, capex and forecasts, identify GAAP issues, prepare quality of earnings reports, coordinate data rooms, review transaction documents, support client relationships and collaborate with advisors to structure deals and post-acquisition considerations.

Manage and supervise staff accountants; ensure timely, accurate AP, bank/credit card, payroll and GST/WCB filings; perform reconciliations, ledger reviews, supporting schedules, client queries, and assist with audits and digital workplace processes. Provide guidance to staff and support senior personnel and ad-hoc client accounting tasks.
