Lead architecture, design, and delivery of embedded firmware for IoT/video streaming products. Develop device drivers, RTOS and Linux software, integrate SoCs and sensors, optimize performance, troubleshoot system-level issues, and mentor firmware engineers while collaborating with hardware, cloud, mobile, QA, and ODM partners.

Design, implement, and optimize embedded firmware for IoT and video-streaming devices. Own firmware components from design through production, develop device drivers and RTOS/Embedded Linux software, integrate networking and wireless protocols, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, optimize performance and power, evaluate SoCs and sensors, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams and manufacturing partners.

Lead device development from kickoff to mass production for video surveillance and IoT products. Manage schedules, BOMs, ODMs, cross-functional engineering (HW/FW/SW/Mech/RF), regulatory certification, testing, sample distribution, sustaining activities, and provide technical support and process improvements. Occasional travel to Asia for factory support.
