Develop and deliver Linux-based EOS software for Arista data center switches and routers. Responsibilities include writing specifications, implementing C, C++, and Python solutions, creating automated tests, debugging routing and packet-forwarding issues, supporting customer network troubleshooting, collaborating with system test and support teams, mentoring engineers, reviewing code, and managing project schedules. The role requires strong software fundamentals and networking knowledge, particularly Ethernet switching, routing protocols, distributed systems, and hardware software libraries.

Develop low-level PCIe software for networking hardware, including link bring-up, parameter tuning, Linux PCI driver and virtual memory changes, error handling with AER and DPC, userspace hardware mediation, performance measurement, and automated testing in C, C++, and Python. Diagnose and resolve firmware and hardware-software integration issues while collaborating with hardware, diagnostics, and software teams.
