Perform hands-on lab support for geological sample processing: weigh and prepare samples, scan and track sample boxes, label and organize labware, run basic analyses (pXRF, pH), maintain equipment and records, prepare solutions, follow safety procedures, and provide cross-functional support across shifts.

Perform routine and non-routine geologic sample analyses using AAS, ICP-AES and ICP-MS. Maintain instruments, prepare dilutions and calibration standards, evaluate data with instrument software and GEMS, ensure QC and SOP compliance, document results in Word/Excel, maintain inventory and a safe lab environment, and act as backup to shift lead.

Perform sample preparation, instrument calibration and maintenance, reagent and standard preparation, data processing and entry, general lab maintenance, and follow established protocols and safety procedures in a geochemistry analytical laboratory.
