Develop and maintain manual and automated integration, functional, load, and performance tests for Akamai cloud APIs and identity services. Responsibilities include mentoring, hiring, onboarding, performance management, requirements clarification, execution oversight, and career development. Requires extensive engineering experience, Python knowledge, IAM expertise, distributed systems experience, Agile and SDLC understanding, and prior leadership experience.

Develop and enhance highly available, scalable, fault-tolerant IAM services on Akamai’s Compute Platform. Design resilient software, build tools for seamless deployment and operation, improve IAM features and customer experience, and research emerging technologies. The role requires extensive Linux software development, Python or Java expertise, secure software delivery, IAM knowledge, and experience with enterprise tools including Git, JIRA, and Jenkins.
