The role manages engineering tasks across project phases, supports construction and operations, ensures regulatory compliance and safety, troubleshoots systems, develops maintenance strategies, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and clients, mentors junior staff, and contributes to mining-sector business growth.

Lead electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering for municipal water and wastewater projects. Responsibilities include power system design, equipment sizing, electrical studies, EI&C development, technical documentation, code compliance, project leadership, cost estimating, scheduling, contract administration, and construction field reviews. The role supports multidisciplinary teams across Western Canada and requires expertise in electrical distribution, PLC/DCS controls, variable speed drives, instrumentation, and applicable Canadian standards.

Lead mechanical engineering design and construction administration for commercial, institutional, government, and light industrial building projects. Design HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, controls, hydronic, and piping systems; perform calculations, equipment selection, specifications, coordination, and quality reviews. Support construction through inspections, submittals, RFIs, and site instructions. Coordinate with clients, vendors, architects, and multidisciplinary teams while mentoring junior engineers and managing multiple projects.

Design and deliver electrical, instrumentation and control systems for municipal water infrastructure projects. Prepare power distribution, grounding, lighting, cable, drives, standby power and low-voltage system designs; specify process instrumentation and control systems; lead electrical discipline tasks; ensure QA/QC and code compliance; coordinate with project teams and mentor junior staff.

Design and deliver mechanical building systems (HVAC, plumbing) for commercial and light industrial projects including water/wastewater plants. Perform equipment selection, duct/pipe/pump sizing, construction-phase site leadership, field reviews, coordination with vendors, RFIs and shop drawing review, commissioning support, client meetings, and ensure code compliance and site safety.

Support dam safety inspections, reviews, and condition assessments; assist geotechnical investigations and field monitoring; perform supervised engineering analyses (seepage, slope stability, settlements); prepare technical reports, proposals, and safety plans; coordinate multidisciplinary teams and support project management. Frequent field travel to remote/mining sites across BC and Canada.

Lead implementation and maintenance of BIM environments, enforce standards and digital workflows, mentor BIM staff, troubleshoot complex model and workflow issues, and drive process improvements across multidisciplinary projects.
