Vancouver-based ZenaTech, Inc., a maker of autonomous drone solutions, has announced plans to acquire an unnamed land surveying firm in Colorado, according to a news release, marking its first Drone-as-a-Service hub in the central west region of the U.S.

A statement from CEO Shaun Passley indicates the integration of traditional land surveying with ZenaTech’s AI-powered drone technology will enhance data accuracy, speed and accessibility, particularly in challenging-to-reach areas. The acquired firm is expected to provide a strong operational base for expansion.

This move is ZenaTech’s tenth acquisition as part of its strategic plan to establish 25 DaaS locations by mid-2026.
