Vancouver-based AI4Eyes pulled in $3.7 million CAD in financing to further develop AI-powered eye care solutions. The financing is accompanied by $2.8 million CAD in non-dilutive funding, totaling AI4Eyes’ latest tranche at $6.5 million CAD.

The company offers an AI-powered system that incorporates clinical-grade imaging, diagnosis, treatment and care recommendations. Its device captures ocular surface data through high-res imaging, and its platform conducts multimodal analysis and condition detection, offering personalized treatment recommendations that clinicians can then approve.

Backed by its new capital, AI4Eyes will focus on the roadmap to commercializing its solution. The company will pursue regulatory approvals in Canada and the U.S., further product development, expand data collection and clinical trials and establish strategic partnerships in global markets.
