Job description
As the Workday Analyst, you will work closely with Finance teams as well as the Workday support team to help drive optimization of the workday platforms functionality, through system enhancements, data integrity, and process improvements while maintaining compliance with audit standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing Workday issues raised by the business.
- Support change requests all the way through to implementation into the production environment.
- Support system upgrades, integrations, and testing activities
- Create and maintain training and testing documentation (including test scripts and user manuals, to support system testing)
- Provide training to Finance users
- Develop and maintain report catalogue
- Work closely with non-finance teams on any additional reporting requirements
- Assist in development of dashboards/ standardized reports for budget holders
- Reporting reconciliations
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to identify improvements in Workday Finance processes
- Other Ad hoc work as initiated or required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Workday experience
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts is essential (accounting qualification is desirable)
- Experience with Workday Composite, Advanced and Matrix reports is a benefit
- System reporting writing experience, (Experience from similar Financial ERP’s will be considered)
- Proven experience working with multi-currency transactions and consolidated reporting
- Proven experience working in a multinational company
- Proactive, detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Fluent English speaking
- Used to dealing in a multinational company
- Experience in a US listed environment is useful with a working knowledge of SOX controls.
