The Vice President of Strategic & Enterprise Renewals, Americas, will be responsible for providing guidance and leadership to a highly motivated team of Renewal Directors and Managers who manage Darktrace’s mid-size and strategic accounts. This individual will be involved in the day-to-day management of accounts, including working with RDs/RMs on risk mitigation and commercial strategy. The VP will collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and technical teams to provide exceptional service, drive growth, and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of Renewal Directors and Managers that are focused on customer success, retention and upsells.
  • Establish and lead a regular cadence of strategic deal reviews, ensuring key accounts remain on track.
  • Accurately forecast projected revenue attainment and performance for the renewals team.
  • Mentor team members through observation of their work and develop learning plans to improve their abilities, skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Technical teams to create alignment across the organization, ensuring cohesive customer strategies.
  • Schedule and lead regular syncs with key stakeholders across functions, ensuring that upcoming renewals are prioritized.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor on key upcoming renewals.
  • Work with leadership to drive renewals program to become more automated and partner driven.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in renewals, sales, or customer success leadership roles, preferably within the cybersecurity or technology industry.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale renewals operations, with experience overseeing portfolios exceeding $200 million in annual renewals.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful renewals strategies.
  • Experience in transforming and optimizing renewals processes and teams, including adding automation to the renewals process.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with CRM and other sales and customer success tools.
  • Experience working with channel partners.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
