As our Vice President, Employee Experience, you will lead the strategy and execution of initiatives that define how Dutonians experience work—across a centralized team including People Development, Culture, Employer Brand, Listening, and Workplace functions.

This role will play a pivotal part in scaling an inclusive, values-driven culture that supports high performance, innovation, and well-being in a hybrid, global environment. You will partner closely with senior leaders to ensure that every employee feels connected to PagerDuty’s mission: helping teams respond better to moments that matter.

Key ResponsibilitiesPeople DevelopmentDriving organizational growth by building the capabilities, confidence, and careers of our people. You’ll lead this team which designs and delivers learning and leadership development experiences that enable PagerDuty’s high‑growth technical and go‑to‑market teams to perform at their best today while preparing for the opportunities of tomorrow. Success means equipping every manager to lead with clarity and empathy, fostering a culture of continuous feedback and growth, and partnering with executives to ensure talent strategies, progression frameworks, and succession plans accelerate business impact and scalability.

Employee Listening & Insights

This team turns employee feedback into a strategic advantage by building a comprehensive listening and insights engine that amplifies every voice across PagerDuty. Success in this role means transforming data from engagement surveys, pulse checks, and sentiment analysis into actionable strategies that strengthen connection, retention, and belonging. Through clear reporting and storytelling to the Executive Leadership Team, this role ensures employee perspectives directly inform business priorities, culture evolution, and people strategy decisions.

Qualifications
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in People, Culture, Employee Experience, or Organizational Development leadership in a fast-paced environment, ideally in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
  • Proven success leading large-scale employee experience, engagement, or culture transformations that improved business results.
  • Strong understanding of global hybrid workforce design and digital employee engagement practices.
  • High-level acumen of employer brand, inclusion, and belonging practices
  • Adept at using data to drive experience design and demonstrate impact.
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication, and influence skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
