The Producer, Visual Pioneering will be working at the forefront of the next generation of storytelling with a team of artists and technologists who harness advanced generative tools and workflows to visualize and develop cinematic concepts. You will be responsible for managing project budgets and schedules, overseeing day-to-day production operations within the department, and ensuring that each project is delivered to the highest creative and technical standards. You will cultivate clear communication across creative, technical, and research teams, maintaining a confident and collaborative approach with clients, vendors, stakeholders, and industry partners. This role reports to the Director, Content Production at Eyeline Studios.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Executive Producers and Workforce Management Team for the successful bidding, resource allocation, production, and management of Visual Pioneering projects
- Creates and maintains production schedule based on approved bidPartners with Creative Directors, Workflow Team, Artists, and other stakeholders to develop creative solutions and achieve project goals, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality
- Builds close relationships and rapport with clients, fostering clear and open communication, providing regular and timely updates on project status, milestones, deliverables and any changes to scope or schedules, ensuring that project expectations are met or exceed expectations and proactively mitigates potential project risks or roadblocks, and communicates them to stakeholders as needed
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary and diverse project team leaders including On-Set, Virtual Art Department, Volumetric Capture, and VFX for final deliveries
- Fosters the adoption, promotion and streamlining of new practices, frameworks, and technology as it applies to Visual Pioneering within the company
- Provides administrative tasks in the form of timecard billing review, resource projections, and general team management support
- Supervises and mentors production staff, championing a positive, collaborative, inclusive and respectful work environment
Qualifications
- You are an experienced Producer within the Animation or VFX industry with pre-production and development experience leading the concept, visualization, and production process, on either the client or vendor side, with a proven track record of delivering high quality work
- You have past experience working with art departments and/or visualization
- You have a thorough understanding of live-action and CG based VFX methodologies, pipelines and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with clients, artists, and stakeholders, as well as build partnerships with technology teamsStrong project management (budgeting, scheduling), resource allocation, organization and strategic planning skills
- Experience with bidding, estimating, and proposal creation for new projectsYou are self-motivated and focused, with excellent problem solving and decision making skills, adept at handling a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience of leading and managing production teams, as well as strong knowledge of production management tools and software (ShotGrid, Google Suite, MS Office Suite)
- Advanced MS Word and Excel skills
