Blueprint is looking for a Video Specialist - Production that must demonstrate proficiency in video processing and basic video editing to contribute to the continued excellence of our best-in-class test preparation products. This role will work with a team of highly accomplished educators, video editors, and producers to adjust recorded video content, upload it to Blueprint’s website for distribution, shoot studio video content, and edit videos. Video editing experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro X and owning software and hardware equipment is preferred, but not required for this role. This is a part-time, remote-hybrid position. Must be located in the greater L.A. area and able to travel to our L.A. Studio as needed depending on projects.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with the Production team to download and process recordings, meeting our upload quality standards
- Upload recordings into our system with proper labels and tags
- Maintain production upload schedule and timeline
- Assist with studio recordings by operating cameras, prompter, performing equipment setup and breakdown, etc. in conjunction with our studio team
- Perform video caption quality assurance, checking for spelling errors and caption timing
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Ability to devote a consistent amount of time to video uploads throughout the week to maintain upload schedule
- Comfortable with editing and uploading videos
- Preference given to candidates with a video editing background in Adobe and Final Cut Pro and owns software and hardware
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Excellent organization, project management and prioritization skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with the production team
