We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Velocity Sales Manager with 3-5 years of experience in client-facing, management-level roles within the SaaS space. As the leader of a newly formed team within an exciting growing segment, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of our sales strategy, driving both team performance and individual contributions in a high-velocity environment. This segment is focused on rapidly growing startups, where quick decision-making and accelerated deal cycles are critical to success. While experience in security and compliance is not required, we are looking for someone with a proven track record of success, a consultative sales approach, and a passion for working with innovative startups. This is a hybrid role with expectations to be in the New York office three days a week.
What you’ll do:
- Achieve growth and regularly hit/exceed sales targets through team management
- Accurately forecast sales projections and perform competitive analyses
- Consistently strive to increase ACVs and win rates while decreasing ramp time
- Scale and lead a newly formed, high-performance sales team dedicated to accelerating sales velocity for startups, with the goal of quick deal cycles and high conversion rates.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Account Executives while also contributing as an individual sales contributor, ensuring that both team and personal revenue targets are consistently exceeded.
- Quickly identify and qualify prospects based on their mission alignment and drive a swift, consultative sales process.
- Oversee high-volume pipeline management, ensuring that your team stays agile and organized while handling a large volume of opportunities and rapidly closing deals.
- Provide strategic direction on driving sales growth, coaching your team on effective sales techniques, and optimizing the sales process for maximum efficiency.
- Analyze the Velocity segment, market shifts, product trends, and competition to stay ahead of the curve and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Lead by example in accelerated sales processes, ensuring the team embraces fast decision-making and high conversion rates while maintaining quality customer relationships.
What you’ll bring:
- 1+ years managing a full-cycle sales team in the SaaS space
- 3-5+ years in sales, preferably in SaaS
- Proven success with consistently exceeding targets and surpassing competitors
- Successful background with forecasting, enablement, competitive analysis and sales strategies
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and performance management skills

This role will receive a competitive base salary, variable compensation, benefits, and stock, typically in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The expected range of On-Target Earnings for this role is $255,000 - $315,000, subject to change.
