Make Your Mark:
As a Solution Advisor (Pre-Sales), you will embark on a satisfying and challenging mission: using your deep accounting expertise to prove the immense value BlackLine delivers. You will be a critical partner to our sales team, articulating the 'why' behind our platform by building sophisticated business cases that translate our capabilities into quantifiable outcomes. This empowers CFOs to invest confidently, enabling their own teams to automate transactional work and evolve into the strategic business partners they were meant to be.
You'll Get To:
  • Partner with the sales team to provide deep technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, focusing on understanding customer business challenges and designing tailored solutions;
  • Create and deliver compelling, customised product demonstrations and presentations that clearly articulate the value and capabilities of our solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Lead the technical response to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring all proposals are accurate, comprehensive, and compelling;
  • Design, manage, and execute Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements to prove the feasibility and tangible value of our solutions in the prospective client's environment.Act as a trusted technical advisor and a critical link to internal teams, gathering and relaying customer feedback to help influence the product roadmap and future enhancements.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bring approximately 5+ years of relevant experience, underpinned by a deep understanding of accounting principles or accounting-adjacent SaaS, which is essential for credibility in this role;
  • Exhibit a strategic and consultative mindset, with a proven talent for connecting complex technical solutions to tangible business value;
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and problem-solving skills through your experience creating and delivering compelling, executive-level presentations;
