Responsibilities
- Maintain and update daily cash flow forecast models, including inflows from accounts receivable and outflows for accounts payable, payroll, and other expenditures.
- Prepare and present weekly AR aging summaries.
- Identify and analyze variances between forecasted and actual cash flows to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Monitor and report on DSO, collection efficiency, and overdue trends, providing insights into customer payment behavior and cash cycle performance.
- Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to coordinate payment planning and collection timing.
- Support the Treasury Controller in working capital management
- Assist with funding requirements, borrowing base calculations, and related treasury reporting for lenders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in treasury, cash management, financial analysis, or corporate finance.
- Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and liquidity planning.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting software is an asset, and advance Excel skill is required.
- Experience preparing AR aging reports and analyzing DSO / collection efficiency metrics.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional coordination with Accounting, Operations, and Treasury teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated initiative in improving forecasting models and cash cycle performance
- Working toward a CPA or CFA designation is an asset
