Join our team as a Trading Services Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of trade positions and settlements. This is an exciting opportunity to engage in process re-engineering and automation, driving efficiency and innovation.
As a Trading Services Analyst within Trading Servicing Team, you will be responsible for performing control reconciliations to verify trade positions, investigating settlements, and focusing on process re-engineering and automation. You will work closely with various teams to ensure seamless operations and contribute to new initiatives and technology enhancements.
Job responsibilities:
- Uploads market data to different risk management systems.
- Performs reconciliations against market sources.
- Conducts numerous control reconciliations to verify trading positions are accurate through front office to middle office reconciliations, and middle office to back office reconciliations.
- Investigates and provides solutions to various queries from settlements and confirmations.
- Produces management statistics.
- Completes operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements, including new system implementations.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Strong logical/analytical mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo.
- Process flow understanding, including the ability to understand current flows and linkage between systems and think about how the process can be improved/streamlined.
- Availability to work from 10 am to 8 pm.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience in process re-engineering and automation.
- Previous experience in the finance industry (operations roles).
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- VBA knowledge
