Performance Objectives
- Achieve annual revenue targets through a combination of new client acquisition, account expansion, and client retention.
- Develop and execute territory plans that identify growth opportunities within the Western Canadian oil and gas market.
- Partner with Technical Advisors and subject matter experts to deliver compelling client presentations and solution recommendations.
- Collaborate with Customer Success team members to maximize client value and identify expansion opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations and industry networks.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide reliable monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
- Serve as the voice of the customer by sharing market intelligence and client feedback with product, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Represent Enverus at industry events, conferences, and networking functions throughout the Calgary energy community.
Competitive Candidate Profile
- Must reside in the Calgary area and be actively engaged in the local energy industry.
- 2+ years of sales experience within the oil and gas industry, preferably selling data, technology, software, analytics, consulting, or related solutions to energy companies.
- Proven ability to develop new business opportunities while growing and retaining existing client relationships.
- Strong understanding of upstream oil and gas operations and the business challenges faced by operator clients.
- Experience managing contract renewals, commercial negotiations, and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Demonstrated success building relationships through networking, industry involvement, and proactive territory development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and urgency.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively across sales, customer success, product, and technical teams.
- Experience managing opportunities through a structured sales process with consistent forecast accuracy.
- Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment.
