| The Role
We’re looking for an Technology IT Specialist to join our N-Tech team at Netflix Animation Studios in Vancouver. This isn’t traditional IT support — it’s about empowering artists, technologists, and storytellers to create the extraordinary. You’ll own the end-to-end support experience across devices, platforms, and remote workflows, ensuring our people can focus on the craft of storytelling without distraction.
This role sits at the intersection of technology and creativity. You’ll be part of a Dream Team of engineers who learn from each other, challenge assumptions, and share knowledge globally.
| What You'll Do
Take ownership of technical issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux devices, from laptops to high-performance rack-mount systems.
Manage the end-user experience: software distribution (Intune, PDQ, Jamf), remote access and PCoIP (HP Anyware, Teradici), and complex troubleshooting.
Act with judgment and autonomy, being unusually responsible in how you prioritize, escalate, and deliver solutions.
Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams, and global IT peers to refine workflows and raise the bar for support.
Document knowledge, share context, and mentor peers so the team is always learning.

| What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in multi-platform support (Windows, macOS, Linux).
Practical use of software deployment and device management tools (Intune, Jamf, PDQ, SCCM, or similar).
Experience with remote/virtual desktop environments (HP Anyware, Teradici, Citrix).
Knowledge of Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and scripting is a plus.
A communicator who can adapt to both technical and creative audiences.
Curiosity, adaptability, and comfort with Uncomfortably Exciting challenges.
Nice to have: Knowledge of Animation, VFX or media production tools (Maya, Nuke, Houdini)

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100K - $200K.
