Who we are looking for: 

We are looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our team as we continue to expand globally. The role involves creating job descriptions with the help of the hiring managers, sourcing and sorting applicants, screening and finding the right candidates for each roles. Reporting to the COO, the technical recruiter will work closely with each hiring manager to develop a deep understanding of the open positions and the company so they can convey appropriately to the candidates why Velixo is an awesome place to work.

Responsibilities:

Manage the full cycle of recruiting across multiple positions in parallel, ensuring a seamless, uniform and incredibly positive candidate experience 

  • Understand, in-depth, the responsibilities and critical requirements of each of the positions to fill 
  • Closely collaborate with internal clients/hiring managers to develop sourcing strategy for current and future needs 
  • Build a strong pipeline to source and connect with potential candidates 
  • Continuously innovate on ways to improve the talent pipeline and recruit in a variety of venues 
  • Source candidates from relevant networks, online and internal databases, employee referrals and passive candidates through networking and research 
  • Conduct screening calls to establish preliminary experience and soft skill fit. Fill out each candidate’s scorecard in the ATS, including green/red flags. Hand off to the hiring manager at the appropriate stage 
  • Create job descriptions, role profiles, and offer packages based on the position and company requirements 
  • Collect previous employer references 
  • Prepare and send offers to selected candidates 

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Bachelor in Business Administration, Industrial Relations or Equivalent
  • Technical recruiting experience, in-house and/or agency
  • Sourcing candidates through multiple creative channels (web, social, professional networks, etc.)
  • Has built and maintained a broad network of talent
  • Exposure to high-growth, fast-paced environments
  • Experience hiring for full-time contract IT/engineering positions in Europe is a must
  • Is bilingual in French and English

Additional Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience working with business / ERP software
  • Familiarity with ATS JazzHR is a plus
  • Experience hiring for culturally diverse and geographically distributed teams

  • Flexible hybrid work environment
  • A stable internet connection and videoconferencing capability is required
