Reporting to the Director, Product Expertise and Advanced Markets, you will support the advisors of specialized networks and their clients in their business decisions. Your role is to develop the wealthy clientele, through financial security advisors, by capitalizing on the use of insurance solutions. You stand out for your ability to analyze financial, legal and personal information, corporate structures and financial plans. Your advanced understanding of insurance solutions allows you to identify opportunities to optimize financial and estate plans of entrepreneurial, professional and high-net-worth clients to ensure their goals are achieved. More specifically, you will be required to:

Provide specialized support, training, and develop presentations for other life and health insurance specialists working within Desjardins Financial Security's partner networks

Analyze corporate structures and suggest improvements to meet specific client needs

Develop training content and materials on topics related to strategies involving insurance solutions

Participate in meetings with advisors and clients to discuss financial and tax matters relating to their situation

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in law, accounting or finance
-
A minimum of nine years of relevant experience

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Experience in the field of personal/individual insurance

Experience in popularizing complex concepts in financial, tax and estate planning

Financial Planner designation, or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), notary, lawyer or recognized tax studies

Expert proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

Advanced knowledge in MS Office suite tools
