About the Role:
As a Technical Sourcer you are a critical part of Kustomer’s Talent Acquisition team, working closely with our technology Talent Partners and hiring leaders on building out a high-performance R&D function full of the best technologists in the business. Focused on hiring for the Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in our candidate development strategy for all engineering roles (SWE, Data, Infrastructure, Leadership). You will consistently identify new channels of outstanding startup/scaleup technical talent, create exceptional candidate experiences and dynamically partner with full-cycle talent partners in seamless hand-offs at varying stages of the interview process.

You maintain the highest levels of data integrity in our ATS (Ashby), maintain and improve hiring processes and collaborate effectively with managers and teammates to improve the TA function. You’ll work directly with talent partners and hiring managers to ensure a frictionless candidate experience.
Your qualifications:
Minimum
-
7+ years of consistent, highly autonomous and progressive experience delivering metrics-based success in a data-driven talent acquisition function, preferably in a Series C/D/E stage SaaS company

Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates through multiple channels (e.g., AI tools, digital and live events, social media, networking, VC partnerships, employee referrals, Boolean search)

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders

Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, JuiceBox, other sourcing tools, and deep expertise in one or more applicant tracking systems (experience with Ashby a plus)

Strong understanding of talent and competency models, recruiting fundamentals, competitive market awareness, social media, and the online market space, including industry intelligence platforms, academic institutions, alumni associations, and other sources of great candidates

Superior influencing skills with talent partners and hiring leaders evidenced by depth of technical knowledge in presenting highly-qualified candidates that exceed hiring manager expectations with nearly zero friction.

Previous recruiting and/or sourcing experience for a wide range of technology disciplines, including but not limited to Full-Stack SWE, AI/ML, Infrastructure, Data Engineering, Eng Leadership, Principal-level ICs

Demonstrated experience in market research, data analysis and common analysis tools (e.g. Sheets, Excel, SQL).

Expert knowledge of Google Suite/ dashboarding in one or more tools

Excellent communication, time management and negotiation skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
Preferred

Experience developing a multi-year sourcing strategy and delivering and defending it to Leadership and C-suite (adaptable to non-technical functions)

Experience managing large, cross-functional projects.

Balance of scaled tech company and mid-stage Series C/D/E startup experience

Current or previous experience as a tester or in advisory capacity to key TA tech platforms

Strong preference for talent based in New York City Metropolitan Area who are open to 1-2 days/week in office in midtown
