We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People team in Langley, BC.

This temporary position is expected to last 14 months.

Reporting to the Manager, Recruitment & Retention, you will be responsible for providing full cycle recruitment support across a variety of roles and business areas within the organization and will play an integral part in our centralized Recruitment and Retention team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing recruitment plans with customized hiring strategies to attract the best talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience from initial contact to hire.

  • Leading intake meetings with hiring managers to thoroughly understand role requirements and building job descriptions and guides to support all stages of the recruitment process.

  • Shortlisting, conducting phone screens, booking and participating in interviews, and all recruitment related tasks.

  • Developing offers and leading the negotiation process with candidates.

  • Coaching and supporting hiring managers with recruitment activities to ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal best practices.

  • Sourcing candidates through external channels including professional networks and job boards.

  • Collaborating with internal HR teams to ensure internal processes and best practices are followed.

  • Assessing the effectiveness of internal recruitment strategies and processes to identify gaps and opportunities and proposing solutions.

  • Assisting in coaching other team members within the Recruitment team.

You have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a full cycle recruitment position, preferably in a corporate capacity or within a retail organization.

  • Experience with recruiting for mid to senior level roles.

  • Knowledge of human resources, recruitment practices, and hiring regulations.

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related discipline is an asset.

  • CPHR designation is an asset.

  • Experience using an HRIS and ATS, preferably Workday.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

Compensation Details:

$65,120.00 - $81,400.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
