We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People team in Langley, BC.
This temporary position is expected to last 14 months.
Reporting to the Manager, Recruitment & Retention, you will be responsible for providing full cycle recruitment support across a variety of roles and business areas within the organization and will play an integral part in our centralized Recruitment and Retention team.
You will be responsible for:

Developing recruitment plans with customized hiring strategies to attract the best talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience from initial contact to hire.

Leading intake meetings with hiring managers to thoroughly understand role requirements and building job descriptions and guides to support all stages of the recruitment process.

Shortlisting, conducting phone screens, booking and participating in interviews, and all recruitment related tasks.

Developing offers and leading the negotiation process with candidates.

Coaching and supporting hiring managers with recruitment activities to ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal best practices.

Sourcing candidates through external channels including professional networks and job boards.

Collaborating with internal HR teams to ensure internal processes and best practices are followed.

Assessing the effectiveness of internal recruitment strategies and processes to identify gaps and opportunities and proposing solutions.

Assisting in coaching other team members within the Recruitment team.
You have:
-
3+ years of experience in a full cycle recruitment position, preferably in a corporate capacity or within a retail organization.

Experience with recruiting for mid to senior level roles.
-
Knowledge of human resources, recruitment practices, and hiring regulations.
-
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related discipline is an asset.

CPHR designation is an asset.

Experience using an HRIS and ATS, preferably Workday.

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

Compensation Details:
$65,120.00 - $81,400.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
