The ideal candidate will have experience working as a recruiting matter expert in the construction industry, with the passion and ability to assist in building our phenomenal employee-focused culture! This role has flexible hours, but will require someone to be in the office on average 3+ days/week. Some travel within Western Canada will be required.

Responsibilities
-Recruit top talent across Western Canada branches
-Develop and set goals; consistently delivering results
-Develop and sustain an active network of candidates by utilizing internet, social networks, database mining, cold and warm calling, social and business websites, referrals, attending and supporting job/career fairs and any additional avenues
-Source, screen, schedule interviews, close, and follow through with on-boarding
-Assist with field recruitment as required
-Build and maintain partnerships with business leaders
Requirements
-2+ years experience in a Recruiting role for Professional-level positions
-Proficient knowledge of Talent Acquisition software
-Thorough understanding of hiring laws related to Talent Acquisition
-Experience with Job boards including LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
-Experience with online Sourcing techniques
-Capable of promoting Company values and services through a highly professional manner
-Strong communication skills, including ability to develop solid working relationships with Branch and Department Managers
-Ability to conduct pre-employment screenings proficiently and effectively in order to find the top talent in the Construction Industry for off-based positions.
-Post secondary education in Human Resources, Business Management, Communications or a related field.
-Ability to travel within BC, Alberta, Manitoba and Toronto on an occasional basis.
