About the role
Davidson & Company is seeking a Manager, Talent Acquisition to join our People & Culture team. This role is a blend of hands-on recruitment execution and strategy, responsible for delivering exceptional full-cycle hiring while continuously evolving the Firm’s talent acquisition strategy to support current and future growth.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute the full-cycle recruitment process for accounting and operational roles, from Student through to Principal level, maintaining direct involvement in hiring while setting overall recruitment direction.
- Partner with hiring managers and firm leadership to assess workforce needs, define hiring strategies, and establish candidate selection criteria.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve talent acquisition strategies, processes, and technologies aligned with the Firm’s values, business objectives, and long-term vision.
- Balance day-to-day recruiting activities with forward-looking workforce planning and talent pipeline development.
- Proactively source, attract, and pipeline talent using LinkedIn, professional networks, and other emerging sourcing channels.
- Develop and maintain recruitment resources, including job descriptions, interview guides, and assessment tools tailored to each role.
- Develops, analyzes, and reports on key talent acquisition metrics to drive data-informed and innovative hiring strategies.
- Serve as the Firm’s primary relationship manager with post-secondary institutions (PSIs) and CPA BC, strengthening campus presence and long-term early-career talent pipelines.
- Collaborate with Marketing and the Events and Logistics team to plan and execute recruitment initiatives, campus programs, and engagement events.
- Lead and attend campus recruitment and networking events to enhance employer brand visibility and attract top talent.
- Partner with Marketing and internal stakeholders to support employer branding initiatives, including social media content and recruitment campaigns.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and hands-on support to team members involved in recruitment activities.
- Contribute to People & Culture initiatives and special projects as required.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
- Five or more years of progressive experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with demonstrated experience managing full-cycle hiring.
- Proven ability to operate in a dual role combining execution and strategy, with comfort switching between tactical delivery and long-term planning.
- Strong experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); experience with BambooHR is considered an asset.
- Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Talent Solutions and social media platforms for proactive candidate sourcing.
- Strong understanding of recruitment metrics, market trends, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organized with strong documentation and process-improvement capabilities.
- Ability to attend evening recruitment and networking events during peak recruitment periods (may require some evenings).

Let’s Talk Numbers
We believe in transparency and fairness when it comes to compensation. For this role, the annual salary range is $95,000 - $110,000 depending on your experience and what you bring to the table.
