The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Source, screen, and recruit top talent across Canada/US for a broad range of roles, including Corporate, Sales, IT, and Manufacturing
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from workforce planning and candidate engagement through offer negotiation and onboarding
- Utilize a variety of sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates, including LinkedIn and other social platforms, employee referrals, job boards, professional associations, and industry events
- Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, role requirements, and local labour market conditions, and develop effective, compliant hiring strategies
- Lead regular stakeholder meetings to provide guidance on Canadian/US recruiting best practices, labour market insights, and the effective use of recruitment tools and processes
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with applicable Canadian/US employment legislation, including provincial employment standards and human rights requirements
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND four (4) years of recruitment experience in Corporate, Agency, or RPO in a private, public, government or military environment
OR
High School Diploma/GED AND eight (8) years of recruitment experience in Corporate, Agency, or RPO in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- ten (10) years of experience sourcing and recruiting talent across multiple job families
- Experience recruiting in the Canadian market, including familiarity with provincial labor laws and hiring practices
- Experience using the Workday Recruiting platform or similar applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Strong stakeholder management and consultative partnership skills
- Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) recruiting practices, and compliance with Canadian human rights legislation and employment equity principles
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all organizational levels
- Ability to quickly learn new business areas and talent markets to identify and attract qualified candidates
- Experience building and maintaining candidate pipelines through market research and ongoing relationship management

Applicable to Canadian Applicants. The expected compensation range for this position is $96,197 - $119,377 CAD, which reflects the anticipated base salary for this role. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as a candidate’s experience, skills, training, and work location, in alignment with Canadian pay equity and pay transparency requirements. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation components (e.g., incentive programs) and a comprehensive suite of benefits available to employees in Canada.
