Information Security Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in Javascript or Python or ability to demonstrate skills in either language.
- 3+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with AWS CI/CD tools
- Experience with code repos GitHub and bitbucket. Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile work methodologies
- Understanding of cloud provisioning tools, such as CloudFormation
- Understanding of container infrastructure, such as Docker
- Understanding of networking and DNS
- Familiarity with cybersecurity and data privacy best practices
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for DevOps-related account escalations and service requests; work with Engineering Manager to triage and solve problems.
- Support project setups and deploys and verify that all infrastructure has been properly configured; follow internal best practices. Continuously monitor automated alert systems; triage events as needed.
- Gather user requirements to inform DevOps roadmap.
- Collaborate with Engineering and internal teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience for Bounteous brands.
- Connect with the DevOps community and track the latest trends and emerging technologies.
- Support the team by participating in the on-call rotation.
