Reports to: Senior Manager, Wholesale Business Process

Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Systems and Process Lead, you work closely with the Senior Manager, Wholesale Business Process to provide leadership at the program level and execute on complex Commercial - Wholesale projects and initiatives. You will partner with business stakeholders, product managers, functional consultants, and/or vendors to collaborate on projects from concept to execution. This includes responsibility for the management, planning, and prioritization of work, process alignment and issue resolution for multiple concurrently running projects. The Systems and Process Lead will coordinate the efforts of multi-disciplinary teams to execute high quality and on-time deliverables.
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The Wholesale Business Process team is focused on providing tools and services that support our sales, operations, and service teams in delivering a best-in-class experience to our B2B partners while driving sales and market growth. We collaborate with cross-functional resources and external vendors to define and deliver our roadmap. Our team helps to prepare our business for the future, while ensuring we operate at our best in the present.
If you were the Systems and Process Lead now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Understanding our ever-evolving business needs and converting them into specific business requirements with acceptance criteria that can be grouped into initiatives aligning with Arc’teryx’s strategic goals
- Owning the process of system changes for release, including organizing release demo sessions, testing, documentation and change management
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and review project briefs and plans and presenting project initiatives to business sponsors
- Gathering and translating business requirements into clear documentation, ensuring alignment across stakeholders, and identifying and sequencing the necessary activities needed to successfully complete projects
- Leading workshops with the delivery teams at key points of a project lifecycle
- Representing the business at meetings with technical teams to clarify business requirements, ensuring solutions pass acceptance criteria, and validating change impacts
- Managing workload and prioritization of resources required to complete projects with the highest level of success
- Identifying and evaluating the backlog of future capabilities that will aid in the execution of our strategy and objectives
- Running planning meetings, standups, and reviews as required
- Ensuring proper risk management by documenting all risks and employing effective mitigation strategies
- Ensuring alignment across assigned project(s) and efficient escalation and removal of project impediments
- Ensuring stakeholders are clear on all project impacts from current state while highlighting future state capabilities and maintaining business continuity
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
- Supporting the Commercial team to integrate and deploy industry leading B2B Commerce Tools to our operations team, sales team and B2B partners, globally
- Supporting the Commercial team in rolling out all future software, programming, and reporting with minimal business interruption while maintaining timelines
- Managing all aspects of a project(s) to align with strategic business objectives
- Utilizing your experience and expertise to contribute specialized process improvement initiatives in the project management practice within the Commercial team
Are you our next Systems and Process Lead?
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business or a related field
- You have 4+ years of experience in business analysis and/or project management
- You have 2+ years of experience in a B2B sales operations/service role, ideally in the outdoor/apparel industry
- You have worked with B2B technology systems including ERP, CRM, EDI, and Ecommerce
- You have an understanding of E2E Business Process including OTC/QTC
- You have built roadmaps, timelines, and process maps using tools such as JIRA, Miro, and Smartsheets
- You have a proven track record of leading and conducting workshops with project delivery teams, resulting in successful project outcomes
- You have demonstrated success working in an agile methodology
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of stakeholders
- You have an exceptional ability to collaborate and contribute as a team player, and the ability to build strong, positive relationships within your team, and cross functionally
- You have excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to explain, articulate, and document concepts, frameworks and requirements
- You thrive on being the person that connects departments cross functionally to drive common business design and data consistency
- You have strong organization and prioritization skills while managing multiple, competing priorities
- You have excellent time management skills with the ability to plan ahead and meet deadlines
- You possess a high level of analytical and critical thinking
