ABOUT THIS ROLE:
We are looking for a seasoned Linux System Administrator to help manage and grow D2C Media’s infrastructure. Our system administration team supports both the development teams and the production environment. In this role, you will be involved in the design, planning, configuration, and maintenance of the various systems powering D2C Media’s services.
Main responsibilities :
Configure, maintain, and optimize servers and core software services
Provide day-to-day technical support to the development team for routine infrastructure needs, including deployments, environment setup, and basic troubleshooting.
Support the dealer website system processes
Monitor, assess and investigate infrastructure alerts
Participate in an after-hours support rotation to maintain our uptime SLAs
Maintain and improve documentation, processes, and operational standards
ABOUT YOU:
Experience: 3+ years working as a Linux system administrator in a high-availability production environment
Bilingual: French/English
Technical expertise:
Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and networking
Strong hands-on experience with:
DNS, TCP/IP, MySQL, NFS, Git, SSL certificates, firewalls and managed
SwitchesData center operations (racks, cabling, equipment maintenance)
Proficient in Bash scripting (knowledge of PHP or other scripting languages is a plus)
Preferred skills:
Cloud experience (AWS preferably)
DevOps experience (Ansible, Terraform)
Experience with F5 BIG-IP
