Role Overview

Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining IP-based surveillance systems across multiple facilities. Monitor camera feeds, troubleshoot technical issues, perform audits, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for installations and upgrades, document system configurations, and provide on-site and remote support, with future team leadership opportunities.

  • Install, configure, and maintain IP-based surveillance cameras and related
  • infrastructure (NVR/DVR, cabling, networking equipment).
  • Monitor and manage camera feeds across multiple facilities using centralized monitoring platforms.
  • Check out all the video footages across all the stations on a weekly basis
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform regular audits, and ensure optimal performance of all surveillance equipment.
  • Work with vendors and internal teams to plan and oversee camera installations and upgrades.
  • Integrate surveillance systems with warehouse operations and safety protocols to enhance facility security.
  • Establish standardized processes for camera deployment, maintenance, and safety compliance across all locations.
  • Prepare documentation of system layouts, configurations, and maintenance schedules.
  • Provide remote and on-site support as required.
  • In the future, mentor and lead additional team members as the department grows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3 years direct experience
  • Proven experience in surveillance camera installation, including CCTV, IP cameras, and NVR/DVR systems.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety practices; OSHA or similar compliance preferred.
  • Familiarity with networking (LAN/WAN), cabling standards, and security monitoring platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with video management software (VMS) such as Milestone, Genetec, or equivalent.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical skills, including remote support capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and travel up to 30% as required.
  • Preferred certifications: Axis, Genetec, Milestone, or CompTIA Network+ (not required but considered a plus).
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
